CEO & Director

A Marine Engineering professional and ex-naval commander with a career span of over 35 years in ship operation, maintenance, repairs, design, project execution, project management, ship building, shipyard management, and technical consultancy to high profile businesses and ship owners in steam, diesel, gas turbine, and nuclear propulsion equipment & systems. Key interest in Platform Management Systems (PMS), green nuclear and hydrogen gas based propulsion system development, corrosion prevention, and ship value assessment. Alumnus of IIM Lucknow, IIT Kanpur, INS Shivaji, and IIT BHU.

Energetic, enthusiastic, enterprising to develop bonds with players of Marine Techno Commercial firms in the interest of the business development and welfare of the society at large.

An ex-Navy chief mechanic with 28 years of marine engineering experience includes shipyard management, planning, repairs, operation, and maintenance of marine engines. He also had the privilege to take part in the prestigious project of Cochin shipyard INS VIKRANT as Sight-in-Charge for pressure testing and erecting the entire fuel lines of INS VIKRANT under M/S TRUST SERVICES. His academic qualification is a B.Sc. in Marine Technology (CUSAT)

He is currently working as Technical Superintendent in H2GEN Shipping Private Limited and look after the 07 Mini Bulk Carriers.

HR and Marine Superintendent

A master mariner with a career span of 34 years. His academic qualification is a B.A. in economics. He started his career in the Merchant Navy in 1990 as a Marine Radio Officer in the main fleet. In 2008, he cleared his Masters and sailed as Masters in different types of vessels.

He was faculty and course director in charge of the GP rating at HIMT College, Chennai, for one and a half years. He also served as a marine surveyor for the Kerala Maritime Board, Kerala. He has been working as HR and Marine Superintendent at H2GEN Shipping for the last two years.

Captain Cedric Pereira is a well-experienced mariner with a career spanning 44 years at sea, out of which 27 years are as a master on oil and chemical tankers. During his career, he has served on general cargo, livestock, OBO, oil-product and crude tankers, and chemical tankers. He has worked with two oil majors on their oil and chemical tankers. He had worked ashore, setting up the safety management system for chemical tankers for an oil major company.

He has also participated in brainstorming sessions to comply with checklists for the introduction of 'Process Safety' on ships. He has also trained sailing staff and introduced 'behavior-based safety' on ships.

Fleet Superintendent

A Marine Engineer/ professional with 30 years of experience in Maintenance, Repairs, Shipping Operations, Budget preparation and management. His work area has been primarily on Gas tankers, Oil & Chemical Tankers, VLCC and Asphalt Carrier.

He has Successfully negotiated with docks many a times to get best prices/discounts and completed dry docking of vessels in various yards namely at Rotterdam / Singapore/ Japan/ Thailand/ Curacao/ China within estimated budget and time. It included 13 Gas Carrier (VLGC/ Ethylene/ Ammonia/ Fully Pressurized), 4 Chemical Tanker (Stainless Tanks) & 01 Container vessel.

As Fleet Manager he has headed team of 05 Technical Superintendent, 3 Marine Superintendent, 4 Technical Officer& 3 Fleet personnel officer managing 24 Tankers.

Vishnudas Vaishnav holds a Bachelor of Management degree and a Diploma in Material Management. He has sailing experience of 7 years in accommodation barges, AHT, and OSV’s as a store manager. He has knowledge of planned maintenance systems (PMS) and 7 years of experience in ship master software for PMS.

He has been working as an office assistant and handling the documentation and accounts at H2GEN Shipping for the last 1.5 years.

Ms. Surekha Sonavane

Crewing Manager

Ms. Surekha Sonavane has seven years of experience in the HR and crewing departments. She holds a B.Com. degree and carries out the duties of HR and crew manning support functions as required by the company.

Currently, she is working for H2GEN Shipping Pvt. Ltd., handling MBC coastal vessels and FG general cargo vessel crew documentation, joining procedures, and crew recruitment and sourcing.
